The Best of Lincoln survey started in 1984 with a paper ballot and manual tabulation. It is now promoted on six radio stations, a computerized online survey and has its own website.

The 2023 Best of Lincoln Survey ran from June 1st through June 30th with a nomination ballot for the public to vote for who they think should be listed on the Best of Lincoln’s official survey. The top 5 in each category were listed on the final survey for the public to vote on in August.  ABC Seamless of Nebraska was also nominated for the “Which window company provides the best product/service?” category.

Ted Franssen Owner of ABC of Nebraska

Ted is the owner of ABC of Nebraska and has been working on home exteriors since he was a teenager. After graduating from high school, he found himself installing siding, gutters, and windows for ABC Seamless—the nation’s largest seamless steel siding franchise. With a focus on quality work and products, Ted quickly moved into sales and eventually ownership. In 1996, Ted purchased his first ABC Seamless franchise in Central Nebraska (Wood River). Ted took the next step in 2005 when he purchased the Omaha roofing and siding franchise. Previously corporate-owned, this second location started what is now called ABC Seamless of Nebraska. In 2015, he acquired his third store in Lincoln, Nebraska, and won his second “ABC Seamless Franchise of the Year” award in December of 2015.
